Partnering With Purpose (PWP) & Service Is Our Signature (SIOS)
The Core Values Committee was created to reflect and reinforce the foundational principles that guide TTAO’s work. We are thrilled to promote two key initiatives which exemplifies our Core Values of Education and Service:
Partnering With Purpose (PWP)
The primary goal of PWP is to provide meaningful professional development and continuing education opportunities for TTAO members, including adjudicators and contest managers.
Through PWP, TTAO will offer opportunities for members to strengthen their skills, deepen their knowledge, share expertise, and stay connected to best practices in adjudication and contest management. Programming will be designed to support continued growth, professionalism, consistency, and excellence in service to the UIL One-Act Play community.
By investing in the ongoing development of our members, PWP strengthens TTAO and the quality of service we provide across Texas.
The 2026 PWP Sessions will be held in each region of the state on November 14.

All PWP professional development sessions are free of charge to TTAO members.
Members are welcome to attend any regional session, regardless of their home region.
Sessions are designed to support the continuing education and professional growth of adjudicators and contest managers.
Workshops are presented by experienced TTAO members and address relevant topics, best practices, and emerging needs in adjudication and contest management.

Service Is Our Signature (SIOS)
Now in its third year, Service Is Our Signature continues to grow! This initiative encourages TTAO members to serve UIL Title I participating schools and those with new directors. By sharing expertise, offering feedback, and modeling best practices, our members uphold the TTAO Core Value of Service — helping every director and student theatre program thrive.
